ANNOUNCEMENTS
• Special Thanks to Rev. Bill Gepford for delivering God’s Word to us today. In retirement, he currently serves as a consultant for interfaith ministries and is on the staff of Littlefield Church working with the American Arab Relations program. He has served as the Dean of Students at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and as Adjunct Professor of Ecumenical Relations at the Far East training Institute, Hong Kong. And in the US, he has been a lecturer on World Religions at the Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn, and chaplain and administrator at the Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio.
• EM Communion: We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday.
• Crop Walk: The annual fundraiser will take place this Saturday May 3rd starting at 8:30am at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church in downtown Detroit. For more information and pledge forms, please contact Kelli Picot.
• Abide Ministries: Abide Ministries minister to women who are caught up in a lifestyle of drugs and prostitution on the streets of Detroit. Donations are needed to dispense adult hygiene kits to those in need. Needed items are (travel size only): shampoo, conditioner, baby lotion, soap, Kleenex, 3 Kotex pads (no tampons), toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, wash cloth, and razor. Donations will be accepted until next Sunday. For more information, please contact Deacon Sandy Lee.
• EM Retreat: The annual retreat will be on June 13-14 (Fri-Sat) at the Indian Lake Nazarene Camp in Vicksburg, Michigan. The theme of the retreat is “The Spiritual Disciplines,” and the speaker is Rev. Samuel Son from the Korean Presbyterian Church of Phoenix.

• JAMA Conference: The Jesus Awakening Movement for America is having its conference on June 29-July 2 in Philadelphia. There are speakers for both EM and KM peoole and different tracks for different life groups (youths, college, young adults, older adults, pastors).
